18-05-2009 Reconstruction starts! Six thirty in the morning. A small bridge over the water at the backside of our home was already in place, but proved to be to weak for the heavy machine. The machine to drill the poles into the weak soil of Gouda had a difficult task. Not the drilling was difficult, but the small journey over the water prooved to be very risky. After strengthening of the bridge the machine was transported slowly. This took even more time than the drilling itself. At nine thirty the whole operation (3 poles) was finished.
